Busan E&E(Environment & Energy) is the very first and biggest waste treatment and power generation facility in Korea.(Waste 900tons/day, 24.8MWh) In the past, household wastes were incinerated and reclaimed. Household waste is automatically separated and sorted, converted into fuel(SRF:Solid Refuse Fuel), and used to generate electric power. Since October 2013, Busan E&E has contributed to resource circulation policies by stably disposing of about 2.93 milion tons of waste throw away by citizens and generating electricity. Busan E&E is contributing to low-carbon policies with high technology and know-how in the operation of facilities, and has established itself as a specialized company in the waste resource energy industry.
