Main Products & Services
KGS, will opreate a ‘hydrogen safety public relation booth’ at ENTECH 2026
The Korea Gas Safety Corporation will participate in the 2026 Environment & Energy Tech 2026 held at
BEXCO in Busan from September 16 to 18 to exhibit and promote five types of hydrogen safety infrastructure, the Hy-Pas system for hydrogen refueling stations, and the Hydrogen Safety Roadmap 2.0.
Through the Hy-Pas system, designed to support the smooth operation and early establishment of hydrogen refueling stations, KGS aims to showcase its efforts in easing the economic burden on hydrogen refueling operators and enhancing their safety capabilities. Furthermore, KGS will introduce hydrogen safety infrastructure, including the Liquid Hydrogen Inspection Support Center, highlighting its dedication to the safe implementation of the future hydrogen economy.
To respond to environmental changes and new technologies in the hydrogen industry while rationalizing
safety regulations, the Korean government and KGS established and announced the 'Hydrogen Safety
Management Roadmap 2.0' in May 2023. To foster the development of preemptive safety standards and
support the rapid commercialization of new hydrogen technologies, Roadmap 2.0 identifies tasks for
establishing lifecycle safety management standards, improving systems, and rationalizing regulations
considering the characteristics of the new hydrogen industry. KGS plans to present details regarding these initiatives at the exhibition.
