Company Introduction
NES Co., Ltd., based in Gimhae, Korea, designs and manufactures metal expansion joints, bellows, dampers, and double-pipe systems for the marine, energy, and environmental plant sectors. Our products meet EJMA and ASME standards and hold type approvals from seven classification societies: DNV, BV, NK, ABS, KR, LR, and RINA.

Carbon-neutral fuel piping — Through our in-house R&D institute, we develop cryogenic expansion joints and vacuum-insulated double-pipe systems for LNG (-163℃), liquid hydrogen (-253℃), and ammonia. Backed by national R&D programs and accredited testing institutes, our technology is validated for extreme low-temperature service.

Emission control equipment — We supply dampers for marine exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS/scrubbers) and are developing fail-safe damper technology that maintains safety even under malfunction, supporting compliance with IMO sulphur-oxide regulations.

NES delivers the piping technology that the energy transition demands — a trusted partner for a carbon-neutral future.
Main Products & Services
1.Cryogenic Expansion Joint
Expansion joints that absorb thermal contraction and vibration in cryogenic fuel piping for LNG (-163℃), liquid hydrogen (-253℃), and ammonia. A multi-ply bellows structure with cryogenic-grade materials ensures fatigue life under repeated contraction and expansion cycles, meeting EJMA design criteria and classification society type-approval requirements. Applied to fuel supply lines in eco-friendly vessels and bunkering facilities.
2. Double-Pipe System
A double-pipe system with vacuum insulation between inner and outer pipes, minimizing boil-off loss of cryogenic fluids. Designed for ultra-low-temperature fuel transfer lines such as liquid hydrogen, the outer pipe also serves as a secondary barrier for leak containment. Currently under demonstration development through a national R&D program
3. EGCS / Scrubber Damper
Dampers that control exhaust flow in marine exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS), built with corrosion-resistant materials and sealing structures for high-temperature, corrosive exhaust conditions. A key component for IMO sulphur-oxide compliance, now being enhanced with fail-safe technology that maintains a safe state even during actuator failure.
4. Industrial Expansion Joints & Bellows
Metal expansion joints that absorb thermal expansion, vibration, and installation misalignment in power, petrochemical, and environmental plant piping. Custom-designed for axial, lateral, and angular movement conditions, with material options for high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive service.
