At many industrial sites, analog gauges are marked with tape or pens to show proper operating ranges. These markings may peel off or fade due to dust, humidity, and temperature changes. Inconsistent methods can lead to different judgments by operator experience and increase the risk of human error. The Gauge Safety Marker displays each gauge’s range in normal, caution, and danger color zones, improving visibility and enabling managers and operators to use the same criteria. It attaches to an installed gauge without equipment modification. The marker is secured with hand bolts, and the zones are set with an adjustment magnet. When operating conditions change, only the zones need adjustment; after gauge replacement, reattaching the marker restores the indication. It supports safer, standardized inspection in power plants, energy facilities, PSM equipment, and utility systems.
